What are the letters about?
Letters from the Prairie is a chronicle of seasons from our home in rural Minnesota. Every Sunday beginning October 20, 2024, I’ll share a glimpse of our last decade salvaging this small patch of earth. At the end of a year I hope to have a collection of fifty letters. Letter-writing, like home-making, is my imperfect stewardship of the eucatastrophic grace to which I find myself indebted. Before now, I kept an account at thegracebook.wordpress.com, and before that aboveallshadows.blogspot.com, and before that a long-gone MySpace, and all throughout many unfinished journals but even more handwritten letters.
Whose idea were they?
A dear penpal once mentioned she’d love to read more about the prairie.
